“I want to appreciate God Almighty for preserving and protecting me through out my tenure in the office. Even before I become the Provost, he has been protecting me, especially when I was in the office.

“I want to appreciate immensely the immediate former Governor of the state, Arch. Darius Ishaku for appointing me the Provost College Of Nursing and Midwifery Jalingo in 2021 before he left office. He has brought me to limelight. Iwant to also appreciate Governor Dr. Abgu Kefas for keeping me. When he took over he didn’t change me.

“He developed interest in the College, for it was the first to be visited when he resume office, infact God just gave me favor with him. With the evidence in the College, it shows how he has invested in school.

She explained that in every place she has served, God has remained faithful to her. According to her, she was appointed Provost in 2021, and throughout her tenure she encountered numerous challenges.

Despite these difficulties, she expressed profound gratitude to God for seeing her through her time as Provost and for granting her success in the role.

“There were so many challenges that God saw me through. I made a covenant with God and said, ‘Lord, I came into this office on my feet, and I will leave on my feet. When that happens, I will stand before the congregation and thank You.’ God has fulfilled His own part, and today I am here to fulfil mine by testifying to His goodness – she said.

On National Exams, she said,

“When I came, I have backlog of students that have stayed for many years, some Six and Seven that have not been index. It is only when you are index that the Nursing Council will know that you are a student, when you are not index, you are yet to be a student.

According to her, she came across almost Four Hundred students that are yet to be index and she took the issue to Nursing and Medical Council and that with God helping her, all the students were index and written their exams, except those that have some little problems adding that set Seventeen, Eighteenth and Nineteenth have graduated.

“Exams have improved very well, but the only issue is that it has been changed to Computer Based CBT, which most students are not familiar with, some of the students are still learning, but still the result is not bad.
On her next ambition, Mrs. Gana said that she is willing to accept any appointment that can be given to her.
“If God allow me to get any position, I am ready, I will accept it – she added.

In his message, the Pastor in charge of CR-CN Center, Rev. Stephen Nebu, urge believers to purify their hearts to do away with bad habits and to avoid any form of disgrace.
He title his message “Purify your heart for the blessings of the King.” took his scriptural reading from the book of 1 Samuel 16:5 -16.

“You should be Obedient to word of God and serve him with all your heart. Remove the spirit of pride, for this is what is killing some of us.
“Don’t allow your heart to disqualify you. More enemies, more progress.Your success will locate you. – he said.

He congratulated the celebrant Mrs. Esther Gana for her successful tenure, describing her as stone that cannot be moved.

The thanksgiving ceremony was attended by family members, friends, former colleagues, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate and give thanks to God alongside her.
