The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced that it is recruiting officials to help keep America safe, adding that it needs help both within the country and from other parts of the world.
In a video advertising the recruitment, published on the FBI’s social media pages, Joe Rothrock, a Special FBI Agent in Charge of the Dallas Field Office, said, “The FBI is looking for dedicated professionals to enforce the rule of law, uphold the Constitution, and keep our communities safe.”
Mr Rothrock said successful candidates would have the opportunity to “investigate crimes ranging from drug trafficking, criminal gangs and terrorism.”
While encouraging interested candidates from within America and abroad to apply, Mr Rothrock said America needs help to sustain its national peace from home and around the world.
“The threat to our national peace is complex and we need help to investigate them, at home and around the world,” he said.
The FBI, in recent months, has intensified its crackdown on criminal gangs within America and abroad. A couple of Nigerians and other fraudsters have been extradited to face trial in the U.S. in recent months.
