FCT NAWOJ Expresses Grief, Commiserates With Family Of Aisha Ali Kadalla

Following the demise of a one time Chairperson of FCT NAWOJ and current Treasurer NUJ Abuja Council, the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ FCT Chapter has expressed a deep sense of grief about the unfortunate development and enjoins family of the deceased to take heart.

The Chairperson of the Association, Comrade Bassey Ita Ikpang, in a statement jointly signed by the Secretary, Nkiruka Okeke commiserate with the NUJ Abuja Council, Aso Radio, NAWOJ FCT and Government and people of Borno State where she hailed from.

The statement notes that the good works of Hajia Aisha Ali Kadalla as Chairperson FCT NAWOJ was visible for all to see and that until her demise on July 5th 2024, she was a Defense Correspondent for Aso Radio. Comrade Ikpang notes that the former Chairperson FCT NAWOJ will be missed for her wise counsel and support for the Executive.

She adds that the association will continue to remember and pray with family of Aisha Ali Kadalla as they mourn and pray for the peaceful repose of her soul.

“May Allah comfort NUJ Abuja Council, FCT NAWOJ, Borno State government over this irreparable loss of our beloved sister and former Chairperson and current Treasurer NUJ Abuja Council.
