The Nigerian Ports Authority says 43 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at the Lagos ports from March 31 to April 8.
NPA disclosed this in its daily publication ‘Shipping Position’.
The authority said that the ships would arrive at the Apapa, Tin-Can Island and Lekki Deep Sea ports.
It said the 19 of the expected ships contained containers of different goods and the other 24 ships would berth with bulk urea, bulk clinker, and base oil.
Others are, bulk gypsum, soybeans, aviation fuel, fresh fish, diesel, fuel oil, petrol, gasoline, general cargoes and bulk sugar.
Meanwhile, NPA noted that 18 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports, waiting to berth with petrol, general cargoes, aviation fuel, diesel, bulk gas, bulk fertiliser, gasoline and containers.
It also stated that 21 ships are presently discharging based oil, fresh fish, general cargoes, petrol, crude oil, bulk urea and containers of different goods at Tincan, Apapa and Lekki ports.
