Two more members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Barile Nwakoh, and Hon. Emilia Amadi, have backed out of the impeachment plot against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Professor Ngozi Odu, by the State Assembly.
Nwakoh represents Khana Constituency I in the House while Amadi represents Obio/Akpor Constituency 2.
Addressing journalists in Port Harcourt, the two female lawmakers urged their colleagues to halt the impeachment proceedings against the governor and his deputy.
The latest development came barely 24 hours after two members of the House, Hon. Silvanus Nwankwo and Hon. Peter Abbey, earlier backed out of the impeachment plot against Governor Fubara.
