Ganagana Congratulates Oborevwori on Victory at APC Governorship Primary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency, Basil Ganagana, has congratulated Gov.  Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the party’s governorship primary held on Thursday.

This is contained in a statement personally signed by Ganagana and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Abuja on Friday.

He said that Oborevwori’s victory had once again affirmed the overwhelming confidence of party members and the people of Delta in the governor’s leadership, vision and democratic credentials.

“Your emergence as the APC governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections is not only well-deserved but also a reflection of your unwavering commitment to peace, stability, inclusive governance and the advancement of Delta through your impactful MORE Agenda,” he said.

Ganagana, a former Speaker of the state House of Assembly,appreciated the governor for his statesmanship and steadfast support for free, fair, transparent and peaceful democratic process across the state, especially in the Bomadi/Patani federal constituency primary.

‘’The primary produced one of the most credible, peaceful and widely-accepted elections in the recent political history of the constituency.

‘’Your commitment to fairness, political inclusion, democratic expansion and the protection of the people’s mandate has further strengthened public confidence in democratic governance and has helped deepen peace and political stability within the constituency and beyond.

‘’There is no doubt that under your visionary leadership, the MORE Agenda will continue to deliver greater development, expanded opportunities, infrastructural growth, economic advancement and improved welfare for the people of Delta.

‘’This is even as you prepare for a second term of purposeful and people-oriented governance.

“I therefore join millions of Deltans, party faithful, political leaders, stakeholders, youths, women and supporters across the state in celebrating the governor’s well-earned victory.

‘’I pray for greater wisdom, strength and divine guidance for you as you continue to lead our state to greater heights,” Ganagana said.

He described the governor as a true hero of democracy and servant-leader of the people.
