To celebrate the 2023 International Women’s Day and advocacy for accelerating gender parity, the China Cultural Centre in Nigeria is organising an Article Writing Competition.
A statement obtained from the Centre by SUMMIT Post, spelt out the modalities for entries and prizes to be won:
Submission Requirements:
“Participant work is to reflect on the positive attribute of a WOMAN.
Only Nigerians who resides in Abuja are allowed to participate. Article is to be written in English, not exceeding 1000 words.
“The Title could be My mother, My Teacher, A Good Friend, My experience etc
“It can be a female you know, write down her achievements at school or at work, or her good character, or her goodwill behavior or her extraordinary growth experience etc.
“It could also could be your understanding and perception of life, the happiness and joy in your life (only for female participant)”.
Participant should submit his or her essay (with writer’s name and contact number) by mail at Chinaccnig1@outlook.com by February 24th, 2023.
There will be First Prize , Second Prize and Third Prize. Winner’s name list will put on China Cultural Centre Facebook page by March 6th, 2023, and will get the chance to participate in the 2023 International Women’s Day at China Cultural Center in Nigeria on March 8th,2023.
The works require originality. Anyone found to have copied the works of another person will be automatically disqualified.
The winners’ articles will be posted in n our Facebook page, instagram and some other social media.
