The Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria (MWFAAN) is set to host a celebration of International Women’s Day called “Count Her In 2024: Inspiring Inclusion & Empowerment.”
“The Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria (MWFAAN) is delighted to announce the upcoming extravaganza, “Count Her In 2024: Inspiring Inclusion & Empowerment,” commemorating International Women’s Day.
“This grand celebration will take place on March 21st in Lagos and March 30th in Abuja. Event Highlights: “Count Her In 2024″ is not just an event; it’s a movement. With a theme focused on inspiring inclusion and economic empowerment, MWFAAN is set to create a platform that celebrates the diverse achievements of women across various sectors, including civic engagement, public management, careers, and business ownership.”
Statement signed by President of the Fellowship, Friday Yahya, explained that the event will be held on March 21st in Lagos and March 30th in Abuja.
The statement further explained that:
“Count Her In 2024” aims to inspire inclusion and economic empowerment for women across various sectors. It will feature panel sessions with distinguished speakers, leadership workshops, networking sessions, and an award ceremony recognizing outstanding women.
According to the statement, series of activities lined up for the event includes:
