Members of the Jalingo Butchery Practioners Association of Nigeria, have been call upon to live in peace with one another.
The Sarkin Fawa of Muri, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kalad made this call during the swearing in of the new members of Judges of the Association held at the Jalingo Abbator.
He prayed for the newly sworn in Judges for Allah’s wisdom and guidance in discharging their duties.
“Leadership is a very heavy task, try hard to do justice to all members, for what you do on earth would be done to you on the last day.
“May Allah help us in this Abbator and give us the wisdom to work for the people.
In his remarks, the State Chairman, National Butchery Practioners Association and Coordinator, Jalingo Abbator,  Alhaji Dauda Atake, urged members to ensure unity amongst themselves, adding that it is for the help and progress of themselves.
“Being a judge is not easy, for it contains many responsibilities. Any leadership bestowed on you, you must be honest and ensure that you do justice to all members based on the Constitution of the Association.
“Trust is very important, you should ensure that you hold unto the trust and confidence that members bestowed on you.
On his part, the Chairman National Butchery Practioners Association, Jalingo Branch  Alhaji Isa Masau appreciated God and members for their support.
“I want to appreciate the founders of the Jalingo Abbator, for they live in peace with each other, we should follow their footsteps. Today God has brought us to another generation that some of us are against one another due to envy.
According to him, the purpose of swearing in the Association Judges is not for witch-hunting anybody, but for the protection of members.
“We should respect our Judges.
Also speaking, the Patron of the Association, Alhaji Buba Gwaza, urge Judges to be fair to members on issues brought before them.
“Don’t say that Mr. A or B is my own while others are not mine. All of you taking this Oath should exercise your responsibilities between you and God, not because of anything, but for peace and members progress.
He pointed out that the profession is very risky in many ways.
“Now that the 2023 Elections are around the corner, we should set for ourselves on what will guide and protect our Profession. Anybody that goes above the law will be made to face the law no matter how highly placed, as far as he is a member of the Association.
“We will protect our members from any form of harrasment by none members or securities only if our member or members give us their support and cooperation.
Administering the Oath of office, Barrister Abduljalil, urge them to do justice to all members.
“Do not favor some and leave some members.
“Experience matters alot, always seek advice from experience people while carrying out your responsibilities. Ask questions on what you don’t know or need to know better, for this will help you in administering justice to members. Remember that the judgment you administered here on eath will also be done to you on the last day.
