Lafia, Nasarawa State – The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Nasarawa State Chapter, has congratulated Governor Alh. Engr Abdullahi A. Sule on completing one year of his second term in office.
In a statement, AFAN’s Public Relations Officer, Alaku Dennis Dauda Esq, praised the Governor’s “exceptional leadership, unwavering commitment, and relentless dedication” to the state’s development, particularly in the agricultural sector.
“Over the past year, Nasarawa State has witnessed significant progress in agriculture, leading to increased productivity, enhanced food security, and improved living standards for farmers,” the statement read.
The association commended the Governor’s provision of high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and modern farming equipment, which has empowered farmers to adopt more efficient and productive farming practices.
They also praised the development of critical infrastructure, such as rural roads, which has improved access to markets and reduced post-harvest losses.
The establishment of warehouses in Lafia was also highlighted as a significant achievement, creating new opportunities for agricultural businesses and stimulating job creation.
AFAN expressed gratitude for the Governor’s support for agricultural education and capacity building, which has equipped farmers with modern agricultural practices and technologies.
The association reaffirmed their support for the Governor’s administration and pledged to work closely with the government to achieve a thriving, sustainable, and inclusive agricultural sector.
“We are confident that with your continued leadership and vision, Nasarawa State will achieve even greater heights in agricultural development and overall economic prosperity,” the statement concluded.
The farmers’ association wished the Governor wisdom, strength, and good health to carry out his noble mission, and looked forward to celebrating many more successes with him in the remaining years.
