The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has acknowledged Quality of Service (QoS) challenges in Abuja, affecting telecommunications subscribers. The disruptions are caused by diesel supply issues impacting IHS Nigeria Limited, which powers Airtel and MTN base stations.
“The NCC is committed to ensuring seamless communication services for all Nigerians and recognizes the importance of reliable power supply for optimal telecommunication services,” said Mrs. Nnenna Ukoha, Head of Public Affairs, NCC.
The Commission is working with stakeholders to address the challenges, urging all parties to collaborate and resolve the diesel supply bottlenecks swiftly. “We are taking proactive steps to facilitate dialogues between impacted service providers and stakeholders to promptly resolve diesel supply concerns,” Ukoha added.
The NCC appreciates subscribers’ patience and understanding, reaffirming its commitment to delivering high-quality telecommunications services nationwide.
