The Director General of the,NBC, Dr. Charles Ebuebu, congratulates Senior High Chief Tony Akiotu, on his election as the new Chairman of the Broadcasting Organizations of Nigeria (BON). The election took place during the organization’s biennial proceedings in Abuja on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
The DG commends BON and its member stations for conducting a seamless and peaceful election during the 81st Annual General Meeting. He, specifically, noted the absence of hitches or rancor, praising all contestants for the high level of sportsmanship displayed throughout the process.
