“Some people show us their strength, but God is our own strength.

“Most of you sacrifice to see that this Church survive, May God bless you all.

“I want to say that I have forgive everyone who wronged me knowingly or unknowingly.

“I also sought forgiveness from all of you and friends of the church.

“I am of the believe that that Governor Agbu Kefas will stand by the truth in handling the upraising in the UMCN,” he said.

The outgoing Bishop called on members of the Church, and the aggrieved ones within the UMCN, to come back and accord the new Bishop maximum support and cooperation to enable him to succeed.

“Time has come that we have a new Bishop, we thank God. I therefore call on you to support the new Bishop, Bishop John Pena Auta just as you supported me in the past 12 years,” he said.

JohnWesley enjoined them to continue to pray and reject the current political maneuvering going on in Nigeria.

He suggested that if Nigerians want to be relieved of the current situation, they should be prepared to sacrifice and also vote credible, God-fearing people into power.

“Johnwesley Yohanna is no longer the Bishop, tell those that left the Church to come back.

“People are saying that I want to remain a life Bishop has come to an end.
