The Nigerian Embassy in Israel has reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare and protection of Nigerians living in the country.
Speaking at an interactive session with members of the Nigerian community in Israel, the Nigerian Ambassador to Israel, Ambassador Nkechi Ufochukwu said the engagement provides an opportunity to listen directly to the concerns of citizens, exchange ideas, and strengthen the relationship between the mission and the diaspora community.
She noted that the gathering reflects a core principle of diplomacy, that the welfare of citizens remains a central responsibility of the Nigerian Government and its diplomatic missions abroad.
According to her, the Embassy remains committed to assisting Nigerian citizens with consular matters, including passport-related enquiries, immigration documentation, emergency assistance, and other legitimate requests within its mandate.
She encouraged all members of the Nigerian community in Israel to maintain appropriate contact with the Embassy for efficient service delivery.
The session had in attendance leaders and members of the Nigerian community in Israel.
