Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked controversy on social media after praising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership, claiming that many states in Nigeria now enjoy 22 hours of steady power supply per day and that terrorist attacks have reduced drastically, all thanks to Tinubu’s policies.
Edochie hailed Tinubu as “The Jagaban”, “The Master strategist”, and “The Silent achiever”, expressing his optimism that the President will fix all of Nigeria’s problems.
However, his followers were quick to knock him, with many expressing skepticism about Tinubu’s leadership. Enegbani Mameh Sule bluntly stated, “It’s obvious something is wrong with your brain, Efulefu,” while Godfrey Egene simply warned, “Yul be careful.”

Habib Muhd Auwal sarcastically commented, “Your national cake never finish? No worry once your national cake has finished we will now understand the difference.”
Some followers even questioned Edochie’s claims, with Popclin Int’l challenging him to “mention the States with 22hrs electricity per day.” Adegbe Nelson was more severe, raining curses on Edochie and saying, “May you experience what Nigeria is experiencing today under your acclaimed master strategist.”
Not everyone was critical, though. Mizta JS Immaculate confirmed that in Ogun state, “I can confirm the steady power supply. A good step but I think more focus should be on tackling the inflation in prices of food first.”
Ebux D’unique even joked, “My Landlord just asked me to be living in his house without paying rents Tinubu is working! He smiled.”
Despite the backlash, Edochie remains confident in Tinubu’s abilities, urging Nigerians to be patient and trust in the President’s vision for the country.
This is not the first time Edochie has shown support for Tinubu, and it’s clear that he is passionate about Nigerian politics.
