The National Youth Service Corps has announced Thursday, May 21, 2026, as the official passing out date for members of the 2025 Batch A Stream II.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Monday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Mrs Caroline Embu.
According to the statement, activities leading to the passing out ceremony will begin on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
The NYSC said the activities would include Job Advisory and Counselling programmes organised by the scheme and other relevant agencies, as well as the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
The scheme stated that the passing out exercise would be conducted on a low key scale across the country, with Certificates of National Service to be distributed to qualified corps members at local government areas nationwide.
Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members on the successful completion of their national service year.
He urged them to uphold the ideals of the NYSC and remain worthy ambassadors of the scheme in their future endeavours.
