President/CEO Rock Global Investment Network and Kogi governorship aspirant, Dr Sam Omale has decried the mindless killings in Igala land, which climaxed last week with the killer herdsmen horror visited on Edede, Ojapata and Aloko all in Oganenigu Ward, Dekina local government of Kogi State.

A statement made available to SUMMIT POST News by his Media Aide, Ojima Okala, explained that “for the past three days Oganenigu in Igala land has been under fire by invaders. So many innocent lives have been lost in this unfortunate incident which has become more incessant.
“These terrorists are heavily armed and the defenceless people of this community are left to fend for themselves.”
He expressed outrage over the lacklustre will by concerned authorities to do the needful to stem the tide of these recurrent attacks, resulting in wanton destruction of properties and killings.
“Unfortunately, there’s  no one to speak out for them. There is no government response or action against this systematic killings. Of course, the Igala land has not enjoyed any government presence in the past eight years.
“I wholly condemn this horrific attack on these innocent people in their ancestral land.”
Dr Omale, who said this nonsense has to stop forthwith, urged all Igala sons and daughters to employ all lawful means possible to ensure the situation is brought under control.
“This must stop immediately.
I call on all Igala sons and daughters to rise up in an orderly manner to resist this onslaught against our fatherland. No inch of Igala land must be ceded to foreign invaders. Enough is enough,” the financial expert says.
