Okpella Community Announces New Finance and Accounts Administration Team
In a move aimed at promoting transparency and accountability in the management of community resources, the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella has appointed a new team to head the Finance and Accounts Administration. This development is a significant step towards entrenching good governance and responsible management of community funds.
According to a press statement released on November 28, 2024, the new appointees are renowned for their expertise and integrity. The team is comprised of Hon Paul Aronokhale (ACA) as Chairman, Iyafekhe Christian PhD, (ACA) as Executive, ThankGod Sado (ACA) as Executive, and Eshieshi Fedayo as Secretary.
These individuals are expected to leverage their wealth of experience and adherence to professional ethics to develop and implement a community financing and accounting model that prioritizes transparency and accountability. Their primary objective is to ensure that community resources are managed efficiently and effectively, with a focus on promoting the welfare of the people of Okpella.

The new team is tasked with immediately taking over the financing of key projects, including the Okugbe Refuse Dump Evacuation and the Land Preparation for the Proposed Okpella Police Area Command and a Commercial Bank. These projects are crucial to the development and well-being of the community, and the new finance team is expected to play a vital role in their successful implementation.
