PDP members from all the wards in Olamaboro Local Government led by the party’s Chairman in the area Collins Onogu has commended the late former federal lawmaker, Mohammed Ibrahim Idris over the provision of infrastructure to the area during his term at the House of Representatives.
Onogu bare his mind when he led a condolence visit to the former governor and patriarch of the late federal lawmaker in his residence at Asokoro in Abuja on Sunday.
According to Onogu, areas like Adumu, Okpo , Ogugu, Imane benefitted from the Infrastructural largesse provided by the federal lawmaker between 2015-2019.
He said the late federal lawmaker toe the same line with his patriarch whose immense contributions to the development of Olamaboro remained unrivaled.
The Olamaboro local government chairman maintained that the condolence visit was to express confidence on the leadership of the former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the former federal lawmaker, praying for God’s guidance and protection of the family he left behind.
While consoling the former governor of Kogi state, Onogu asked him to take the unfortunate incidence in good fate, saying Almighty God will give him the large heart to bear the invaluable loss.
In his response, Jakadan Sokoto and former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris thanked the large turnout of PDP members from Olamaboro local government, while urging them to remain steadfast with the party.
He said their visit will strengthen and energize him to navigate through this difficult time, asking them to pray for him and the late son, Mohammed Ibrahim Idris.
