Former gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Nasarawa State, Dr. David Emmanuel Ombugadu, on Thursday joined a delegation of prominent sons of neighbouring Plateau State, led by Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on a strategic visit to the Minister of Works, Engineer Dave Umahi.
The delegation, in a statement issued by Dr. Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, visited the Minister of Works to press for the urgent dualization of the Akwanga-Jos Road.
According to the statement, Governor Mutfwang explained that the Akwanga–Jos Road is a critical federal highway that serves as the main gateway into Plateau State and plays a vital role in linking the North Central geopolitical region with other parts of the country.
