The Honourable Minister of States, Labour and Employment, Barr. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) on their victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
The PEPT on Wednesday in Abuja dismissed the petition by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi for lack of merit.
Hailing the judgment, Onyejeocha who was also declared winner of the February 25th election for the Isiukwator-Imunneochi Federal Constituency yesterday by the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Umuahia, described the ruling of the tribunal as a judicial seal on the mandate given to her party, the APC and the president by the Nigerian people during the February presidential election.
While she urged the president to see the victory as call to service and as a reminder of the confidence of Nigerians in his capacity to lead country with good intention, she called on Nigerians to support the president in prayers and to remain positive.
“Nigerian people have great expectations from Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and I am confident that he would not fail them because great achiever and goal getter.
Onyejeocha who commended Atiku and Obi for using the legal window prescribed by the constitution of the land to seek redress for their grievances, urged them to join hands with the government to move the country forward.
