OPay has selected 10 teams to advance to the boot camp stage of its National Innovation Challenge, with N18 million set aside as the total prize pool.

‎The challenge, organised under the expanded OPay Scholars Programme in partnership with Google and the Federal Government’s 3 Million Technical Talent programme, attracted more than 11,000 students across 2,200 teams.
‎
‎Following the initial selection, 48 teams participated in a six-week employability webinar aimed at improving their workplace skills and preparing them for the next stage. Ten teams emerged from the webinar stage and will now proceed to an intensive boot camp, where they will develop and refine their proposed solutions with the help of mentors and industry professionals.

‎The selected teams are; Lyrclip of Miva Open University, ResearchFlow of Olabisi Onabanjo University, CampusCheck of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Veripay of MOAUM/Benue State University, CoursePass of Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Teamcobuild of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Verified Hands of Ahmadu Bello University, SkoolConnectNG of Yaba College of Technology, Thrifty of Ahmadu Bello University and Team Paye of Adeleke University.
