The All Progressive Congress (APC) has accused the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of planning to rig the upcoming local government elections in Taraba State.
APC state chairman Ibrahim El-Sudi alleged that the PDP is planning to use vote-buying, intimidation, and collusion with Taraba State Independent Electoral Commission (TSIEC) officials and security agencies to manipulate the election results in its favor.

The APC has expressed its concern over these alleged plans and has vowed to take all necessary measures to ensure a fair and credible electoral process. The party has urged its supporters to remain calm and come out en masse to vote for APC candidates at all levels.
El-Sudi further stated that the APC is committed to ensuring that the will of the people prevails in the upcoming elections. He called on the TSIEC and relevant security agencies to uphold their neutrality and ensure a transparent and violence-free electoral process.
