RE: MURI’S DATA BOYS ON A SPRAWL.
I have seen a barrage of social media empty attacks on my person alluding to a total misplacement of energy by the quid pro quo trigger supporters of Muri.
On the one side, while I think they have the right to how they want to think or see things, I also see that the application of their public show of ‘ I also insulted Austeen Sir’ for benefits is another low of how one would descend even with their purported level of exposure and education.
However, I am less perturbed by this disposition. It shows only what can come out of them.
Muri is no different from every other politician whose political ambition is triggered by their interests and nothing more. I have had to put up my concerns about his quest to become the Governor of Kogi State at this time which he has cunningly cultivated through a spree of jamboree to be seen as a philanthropist as it were.
We usually fall for these gamers in every political cycle. They just show up with unexplained sources of wealth, start displaying the same, and boom, we fall for their antics. I am not one of those who would fall cheaply for any politician. We are not asking the right questions because it is about what we stand to gain and in the end, and then, we will all start asking God all sorts of senseless questions when everything goes south.
Only in Nigeria a politician receives accolades and praise and is judged as the right man only if they have monies to pay hailers. More like the Unilag VC was hailed for opening a bakery instead of setting up a technology research and development lab where citizens will benefit from the opportunity to compete with the ongoing global technology evolution.
Opaluwa Ugbede Omera, you can try to recruit social rascals to call me all sorts of names as you have already started. That won’t change my beliefs and ideologies, not an inch. Howbeit, this is such an unfortunate venture and demeaning of your character as I would have thought of the opposite.
Engage me objectively and not with some pettiness of losing polling unit bullshits. Ask questions very well. I won my polling unit with a landslide. It is Ofudu/Òfòrò in Imane ward 1.
And for you all who think I should lose my right to an opinion because I would one day run again for public office, wake up and face reality. My choice to run for public office was solely mine and this is because I thought leadership is service. But sadly, in a country like Nigeria and most especially in Kogi where it is about who gets what, one is less motivated to take up further risks in political leadership. Imagine the mindset of you and your goons. Planning an unknown political future to my disadvantage because I have a contrary opinion to yours. Nauseating isn’t it?
I would not engage in further shenanigans on this subject if you have no objective disposition to debate upon.
But describing Muri as a philanthropist because of politics is another malarkey.
