Security: Thank You Asiwaju on Security, Group to Hold Massive Non-Partisan Rallies Across Abuja, Lagos, Other Cities

The Good Governance Advocates Without Borders has announced plans for a series of massive non-partisan rallies to express gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his administration’s significant strides in enhancing national security.

‎

‎The rallies are scheduled to take place across major cities including Abuja, Lagos, and several state capitals, drawing participants from diverse backgrounds united by a commitment to good governance and appreciation for improved safety conditions.

‎In a statement signed by Charles Abakpa Onoja, the convener, the group highlighted the positive impact of the President’s security policies, which have led to notable reductions in banditry and insurgency in several regions.

‎

‎These events, he noted, aim to foster national unity and encourage continued support for initiatives that prioritize the safety of citizens.

‎

‎“Under Asiwaju’s leadership, our troops have recorded tremendous successes, including the neutralization of high-profile terrorist commanders and the rescue of numerous hostages in the Northeast. These victories demonstrate a renewed vigor in our military operations,” said Charles Abakpa Onoja.

‎

‎“The non-partisan nature of these rallies underscores that security is a collective responsibility that transcends political lines. We are grateful for the enhanced intelligence sharing and modern equipment provided to our forces, which have turned the tide against criminal elements.”

‎

‎The upcoming rallies will feature testimonies from communities that have benefited from restored peace, showcasing how military operations have reclaimed territories previously held by insurgents.

‎

‎The group said recent operations by Nigerian troops have yielded impressive results, such as the destruction of several illegal refining sites in the Niger Delta, the disruption of kidnapping networks in the Northwest, and swift rescues of abducted citizens in areas like Oyo State, leading to a measurable decline in incidents.

‎

‎Tyey noted that these achievements are part of a broader strategy emphasizing both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches to security.

‎

‎“Asiwaju’s administration has empowered our gallant troops with the resources needed to execute their duties effectively. Successes like the large-scale arrests of oil thieves, the protection of critical infrastructure, and high-profile rescues have boosted economic stability and public confidence,” noted Onoja in the statement.

‎

‎“We stand in solidarity with the men and women in uniform whose sacrifices have made these rallies possible. Their professionalism in counter-insurgency and rapid response operations has brought hope to millions of Nigerians.

‎

‎“The Thank You Asiwaju on Security initiative is a testament to the visible improvements in our national defense architecture. From enhanced border patrols to successful joint task force missions and timely rescues of abducted persons, the progress is undeniable.

‎

‎“These rallies are not just celebrations but calls to action for all Nigerians to support policies that strengthen our troops and secure our future generations.”
