has revealed that some politicians in the party at the state level have hijacked the funds meant for the presidential campaign rallies in the state to frustrate the success of the campaigns.

Kente, who disclosed this at a rally organised for the zone at Wukari, said that some of the party stakeholders had to task themselves to make sure that the zonal rally held.
He maintained that the Tinubu/Shettima mega rally scheduled to hold in jalingo on January 20 was postponed because the party still does not have a gubernatorial candidate in the state by virtue of the pending litigations at the Supreme Court.
“We  taxed  ourselves to raise money for this rally because the money the state was given for presidential rally has been hijacked. We love our party, we will do everything humanly possible to work for the victory of the party .
“There are two cases at the Supreme Court in regard to the flag bearer of the party in Taraba state.  We are all waiting for the outcome of the court case. We will tell you who to vote after the court case. Tinubu and Shetima is our presidential candidate. They have good promises for us in Taraba and by the grace of God, we will be part of the central government.
Meanwhile, the Aku Uka of Wukari, Manu Ishaku  Adda Ali has called on politicians to conduct themselves in manners that would foster unity and development, rather than create chaos and destruction.
The Aku Uka gave the charge when the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council led by Chief Kente paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Wukari as part of activities for the zonal rally of the party.
He said that as a father, his blessings are for one and all of his children to succeed in their endeavours and urged them to note that in any contest, there can only be a winner and the spirit of sportsmanship is what keeps the system going despite the pain of losing.
The paramount ruler commended Chief David Sabo Kente for his effort in carrying the people along in all his political activities.
The Zonal rally witnessed unprecedented party supporters from Wukari, Donga, Ussa, Takum and Ibi local government areas.
