Tinubu Holds Redemption Hope For Nigeria’s Future – Hon Abutu

By Omonu Nelson, Abuja

The national coordinator of the National Movement for Good Leadership (NMGL), Hon Umar Abutu, has said that the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, holds the key to Nigeria’s prosperous future.

Speaking with newsmen in an interview, on Friday, in Abuja, the founder of NMGL explained that there are 37 reasons why Nigerian electorates should entrust the destiny of Nigeria into Tinubu’s hands.

According to him, the former Lagos state governor is a ‘possibility thinker’.

He said, “Looking at Tinubu’s anticidents in public life, you would realised that he has never failed before. As a member of the Nigerian senate in the aborted Third republic, he demonstrated his sterling power of advocacy, lawmaking and possibility thinking. He has always been at the arrowhead of progressives.

“Also, he met Lagos state in a very chaotic and near collapse state in 1999, but by the time he handed over to his successor in 2007, he had restored order, economic power, and set Lagos on the path of eternal prosperity.”

He emphasised that at a time of deep division and ethnic acrimony, such as Nigeria is currently facing, it is incumbent that Nigerians votie in a detribalised Nigerian, with track records of uniting men for common purpose.

“Needless to emphasise his glorious achievements as Lagos state Governor between 1999 and 2007. Records are everywhere for Nigerians to judge. He went for competent and best brains who could solve problems. That was why he massively transformed Lagos into West African economic hub.”

Abutu revealed that the group had designed series of programmes of actions, aimed at galvanising and sensitising Nigerians on the benefits of electing Tinubu as the next Nigerian president in the February 2023.

“Our structures at national, 36 states, Federal Capital Territory, and 774 LGAs has been fully mobilised for onerous task of delivering Asiwaju in the February 2023 presidential election. Our zest is anchored on our conviction that Asiwaju is the bridge to a future that works for all Nigerians. We will not relent until this goal is accomplished, ” he said.

National Movement for Good Leadership, NMGL, is a group committed to ensuring the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is elected with ease in the next year’s general election.
