The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has warned students, staff and campus organisations against engaging in political campaigns, rallies and other election-related activities within the institution.
The university restated the prohibition in a statement issued on Thursday, stressing that it operates as a non-partisan academic institution.
It also cautioned against displaying or distributing campaign materials, including political posters, banners, handbills and stickers, on university-owned property.
According to the institution, the restriction covers all associations, unions and groups operating on campus, which must ensure that their activities remain free from partisan political involvement.
