We’re No Longer Brothers — Mr. P Opens Up on Why He Says He Can Never Forgive His Twin, Rudeboy

By Achile Danjuma

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye(Mr. P), one-half of the former Psquare duo, has made a shocking statement about his relationship with his twin brother, Paul Okoye(Rudeboy), saying he no longer considers him family.

Speaking candidly, Mr. P declared that he no longer has a twin brother and insisted that he will never forgive him. According to the singer, the bond they once shared had been completely broken, but unknown to the public.

Mr. P recounted an incident that happened in November 2021 after their separation when he got a call from his caretaker while he was abroad on a tour in Canada and United States:

“While on a tour for my show in Canada and United States in November 2021, I got a call from my caretaker on the 17th of November that my twin brother, Paul, had come to the house to plead with my family for reconciliation, urging me to forget everything so that we could come back as twin brothers that we were before the misunderstanding,” Mr. P narrated.

“When I came back home, I spoke with my wife who told me that my twin brother was at the house around 4:00am in the morning crying that he is tired with the situation of things between us, urging her to talk to me so that we get back together”, he added.

Eventually, Mr. P and his twin brother reconciled but according to him, the reconciliation was a fake move as he alleged that their older brother, Jude, and Paul, connived together to ridicule him and paint him bad in the eyes of the public.

He made reference to a video in which the so called remorseful brother, Paul, was seen and heard making derogatory statement against his twin brother, Peter.

“Fuck P-Square. Fuck Mr. P…,” Rudeboy, Paul, was heard and seen saying that after the arranged reconciliation in a video clip shared by his brother, Peter.

According to Mr. P, the video was made at a gathering where his twin brother was celebrating with his fans after he, Peter, told the two of his brothers, Jude and Paul, that he doesn’t want the brand name P-Square, or two of them working together to revive, stating that it would be nice if they maintained as brothers while everyone works separately.

In disagreement to his opinion, that was when they(Jude and Paul) decided to host some people and make derogatory statements about him and their former brand name, P-Square.

Therefore, for such an act, the two brothers ceased to be his brothers.

He also urged fans and the media to stop asking him questions about them, stressing that they are no longer brothers in his eyes.
