Olajuyin Commends Ekiti Governor For Promoting APC Internal Democracy

By Abubakar Yunusa

A leading aspirant for the House of Representatives, Ekiti South Federal Constituency I, Engr. Olasunkanmi Olajuyin, has commended the Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for creating what he described as a fair and inclusive political atmosphere within the All Progressives Congress.

Olajuyin, in a statementade available to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, said the governor’s decision to allow all interested aspirants in the party to obtain nomination forms and participate freely in the electoral process reflected his commitment to justice and internal democracy.

He noted that the move had strengthened confidence among party members and stakeholders, while also promoting unity across the state.

According to him, Oyebanji’s leadership style has demonstrated that fairness, equity and openness remain central to democratic governance.

He said, “By creating a level playing field for all aspirants, you have strengthened democracy and restored confidence within our party and across the state.”

The aspirant added that the governor’s actions had reduced political tension and encouraged healthy engagement among party faithfuls.

He explained that the atmosphere of transparency and openness had fostered peace, togetherness and renewed hope among the people of Ekiti State.

Olajuyin reaffirmed his commitment to the progress of Ekiti South Federal Constituency I and the state at large.

He also urged party members, stakeholders and residents to continue supporting the administration of Oyebanji ahead of future electoral contests.

According to him, sustained support for the governor would help consolidate ongoing achievements and position the state for greater development.

He prayed for wisdom, strength and success for the governor in the discharge of his responsibilities.
