A 10-member committee, led by Col. Suleiman Babanawa (rtd), was constituted to drive party reconciliation and growth. The committee comprises representatives from the 3 Senatorial Districts, with Comrade Solomon Bebeto as Secretary.

Hon. Ilemona A. Ichaba, Ph.D, Kogi State Publicity Secretary, Social Democratic Party, emphasized the importance of reconciliation. “All warring parties were advised to sheathe their swords and work towards immediate reconciliation with aggrieved persons and parties,” he said.

The party also identified strong stakeholders in each Local Government to provide financial and moral support to the Local Government EXCO. Stakeholders in each Local Government will take charge of E-registration and provide party registration cards to registered members.

Stakeholders reaffirmed their loyalty to the party leadership at the State and National levels. The efforts of Col. Suleiman Babanawa (rtd) and Mr. Abayomi Bello in repositioning the party in the State were commended.
